Englanders wondering why they never see sausages or bacon advertised on television commercials any more now have an answer – the advertising of pork products has been effectively banned.

In a rather bizarre use of animal cruelty laws, 29 year old James Budden from Huddersfield, England, was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment and banned from keeping pets for a period of 5 years after being arrested for smearing his penis with bacon and inserting it into dog owners letterboxes, encouraging the pets to lick off the fat.
