They say that love is blind and knows no barriers. For Staffordshire Terrier Dixy and his porcine partner Polly that’s certainly true.

The 3 year old white staffy from Huddersfield, England, was smitten with Polly the pot bellied Vietnamese pig the day his owners brought her home, and it didnt take long for true love to blossom.

“I think it’s so sweet” 52 year owner of both animals Janice Longbottom said, smiling, “They’re inseperable, every time you look at them they are playing together”.

“They’re just so in love, it’s wonderful. People stop in the street to look at them, and they all smile. They really brighten up the lives of everyone around them”.
