Burka Babes Battle Ban with Music
With news hot off the press that governments Europe wide are seeking to ban the Burka, 3 pop stars from Petersborough are fighting back.
The Burka Babes – Rude Burka, Baby Burka, and Sporty Burka - stormed into the charts with their debut single It’s My Burka (and I’ll Cry if I Want to). Their first album, Wannaburka, is already hot on the pre-order chart, and slated for release in the final week of July.
The trio, all from Petersborough, are described by their agent as “Beautiful, bubbly, babes in burkas, who know how to party in true modest style….and they’re sometimes daring. Rude Burka is a real free spirit, she got her name after she accidentally showed an ankle at a gig….These girls are singing for womens freedom everywhere”.
With their heady mix of electronic pop music, incisive vocals, and a highly active tour calendar, it looks like the Burka Babes are on to a winner and are spearheading the fight against the Burka ban by making the all over body and face covering trendy with the youth.
Their forthcoming album, Wannaburka, is available for pre-order on Amazon and all major retailers, and contains the tracks – It’s my Burka, Burka with me Baby, Burka Face, Niqaab Gonna Give You up, This is Why We Hijab, Single Ladies (Put a Burqa on it), Abaya a Girl, and Al Amira That She Wants.
